Method of Preparation
1. Mix the entire pack of Sawai Watan with 2 table spoon water and keep aside
2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker or wok, add above watan and sauté for 1 minute
3. Add Masala, little salt and vegetables or non-veg as per your choice and mix well. Add 3 cups of water and cook for 10-15 minutes
Note: cooking time varies as per veg/non-veg dish. 1 cup = 200 ml. (Sawai Watan is slightly salted)

Prepare delicious recipes using this watan such as egg curry, mutton / chicken rassa, sukka, misal rassa and all types of veg curries, usals etc.

It is used alone or with other seasonings, and is pungent, but not “hot” in the same way as chilli powder.
